For reference – Considerations for purchasing an Ultraview spotting scope
Maximum mobility without compromising twilight performance
Traditional spotting scopes are often large, bulky and heavy. The Ultraview ED 9-27×56 S-ED was specially designed to go everywhere with you: on long stalks, mountain tours, travels or for quick checks at the shooting range.
With a close focus of just 2 m and a wide field of view of 78 to 36 metres, it offers exceptional flexibility from macro to long-range applications.
Ergonomics at varying elevation angles
The 45° angled view is optimal when observing from a tripod or targeting objects at varying angles (e.g. uphill in the mountains or birds in the treetops).
The neck remains permanently relaxed. Even several people of different heights can comfortably look through the same angled eyepiece without having to adjust the height of the tripod.
Safe engagement at a distance
With a 9x magnification, you keep the entire surroundings in view.
Using the smooth zoom ring, you can continuously zoom up to 27x magnification to accurately identify bullet holes at 50 m / 100 m / 300 m or reliably assess game at long distances by age and characteristics.
