Aiming optics especially for hide hunting
If it dark are Three things are of enormous importance when hunting: light, light and more light. For this application without exception, the ZF optics with 56mm or 50mm lenses are preferable. These usually have a Sufficiently large exit pupil e.g. 22.4-5.6mm around which the safely illuminate the retina of the eye.
The Larger objective lens for night scopes focusses more light - which is a great advantage at the very last light of the can. The specially developed DDoptics HDX coating with the nighthawk ZF is particularly high "night value" (approx.92% light transmission between 450-500nm light wave) designed.
One A further increase in this "night value" is no longer sensible in this light wave range. A further increase in the blue light wave range would lead to a sharp deterioration in contrast. The DDoptics standard night illuminated dot is red and just visible when dimmed to level 4 (you should experience this). Below level 4 is the microluminous spot can only be recognised with a night vision device. The illuminated dot is also available in green or another colour on request.
