The IWA in Nuremberg 2012
From 09 to 12 March 2012, the international experts from the Core areas "hunting and sporting weapons", "classic outdoor equipment" and "safety equipment" in Nuremberg at the IWA.
Outdoors is everything that is not indoors!
The The fascination of experiencing nature up close with the associated challenge of experiencing the weather and the forces of nature on their own bodies, many people experience a huge demand for equipment and accessories. Whether out of a desire to preserve tradition - perhaps combined with a desire for increased comfort - or simply for practical reasons, the possible product range is constantly growing and is just as gigantic as the market.
That's why the whole world of outdoor manufacturers and retailers meets at the IWA.
Outdoor is what we all make of it!
Manufacturers are constantly and effectively expanding their product range. This means that the IWA trade fair has long since ceased to be just a "firearms fair" and now offers the opportunity to develop completely new sales channels and create new target groups and trends in the lifestyle sector.
Goals and meetings
For many Hunters and sport shooters the fair is particularly interesting because of the innovations on the hunting rifle market. It is also very interesting to see the artwork of the Ferlach gunsmiths - see the photo gallery.
Particularly noticeable in the interesting price range of €1,000-1,500 for the new rifle BERGARA BX11 (from May 2012) from rifle barrel manufacturer Bergara and the Rifle Jäger 10 from CG Haenel (perhaps still known to many from the first hunter lottery 2011 of the Vorarlberg Hunting Association) with new, narrow plastic stock (ideal for women's hands).
Perhaps also worth a closer look are the patented SuhlerZF mounts - the most important connection between weapon and optics. Today, gun buyers have a wide range of scope mounts from various manufacturers at their disposal. " More info Single-hook mounts from the Ziegler company, which can be fitted by any skilful hunter. The Ziegler Kontra version can be mounted on virtually any standard rifle. Advantage: Several riflescopes can be easily mounted, shot and then simply exchanged according to their intended use.
The topic of lead-free hunting is now also being addressed by almost all ammunition manufacturers. A less well-known (but already much discussed) manufacturer that works with copper is SAX. You can find lots of interesting information and studies from SAX HERE.
It's a pleasure to read these posts, they are well done.
