As the saying goes: "Other countries, other customs and traditions". And yes, that is definitely true for these particular Hunting fair in France. Some things are completely different here.
We are delighted to present the FBT report from our visit to the trade fair. Fine Ballistic Tools was also at the Game Fair in Francesupported by their French Partner Rivolier, with the Carbon shaft products and silencers for all hunting weapons.
It was not the first time that FBT had organised a Hunting fair in France FBT and its partners also visited Lamotte-Beuvron last year. The overwhelming enthusiasm of the visitors for the UNIC carbon shafts is very impressive! However, the French prefer them in the "high gloss" version
This prestigious award for FBT was presented by the magazine "Armes de Chasse" on the basis of a reader survey and will be published in the next issue.

This coveted award as "Product of the year 2023" in the "Accessories" category was presented to Moriz Rainer (FBT) at a ceremony held on site. This prize is awarded by the prestigious magazine "Armes de Chasse" based on a reader survey and will be published in the next issue.
The Game Fair is undoubtedly one of the largest hunting fairs in Europe and this year attracted around 100,000 visitors on. The trade fair was held in the open air over three days from 09:00 to 20:00, creating a relaxed atmosphere.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the latest hunting products, talk to experts and take part in various activities.

Particularly impressive was the breathtaking show on Saturday evening, when the French Air Force put on a spectacular air show.
Riders, riders with dogs and mounted archers impressed the audience.
The highlight of the evening was the exclusive VIP dinnerto which FBT was invited. Under the direction of the renowned Chefs Olivier Nastiwho was honoured as "Chef of the Year 2023" according to Gault & Millau, served delicious game dishes.
The dinner was accompanied by exquisite wines and ended with a big fireworks display.

Between the various events, impressive Demonstrations of hunting dogs where the hunting skills of these faithful companions were demonstrated.
What is the feeling and perception as a visitor when visiting the Game Fair?
France is different and that "how to organise a hunting fair" indeed also. What here creative framework conditions is offered - also in from a culinary point of view - is overwhelming. People here are really proud to be a member of the hunting community.
FBT naturally used the trade fair to present its FBT products to a wide French audience and to gather feedback. The company was delighted to receive numerous expressions of interest and made valuable contacts with hunting experts and enthusiasts.
According to the interview with Moritz, Fine Ballistic Tools' participation in the Game Fair in France was an extremely memorable experience. The Honoured as "Product of the Year 2023" confirmed their commitment to innovative products, and the positive response from visitors and customers was fantastic.
Perhaps it would also be exciting for us from Austria and Germany to think outside the box and simply visit a hunting fair abroad.
Some details about the Game Fair hunting exhibition
The game fair was launched in 1981 and has become an indispensable Meeting place for hunting and nature in France and throughout Europe.
Every year, more than 95,000 visitors stream through the aisles of the event, where over 600 exhibitors from various countries present their new products.
The fair takes place in the heart of Sologne, more precisely in Lamotte-Beuvron, on an impressive Exhibition site of almost 36 hectares and is now the largest hunting fair in France.
Here visitors will find everything to do with Weapons, optics, ammunition, clothing, accessories and land development. Various Theme areas "Villages" such as the Premium Village, the Dog Village, the Bow Hunting Village, the Fishing Village and the Artisan Cutlers Village enable an uncomplicated exchange with the exhibitors on specific topics.
In addition to the impressive product presentations, the Game Fair also offers a Dinner show followed by fireworks on Saturday evening, a flea market, a St Hubert fair on Sunday and a special weapons auction on both Saturday and Sunday.
Hunting in France - a huge hunter community
Hunting in France has a strong community of hunters who practise one of the country's largest leisure activities. With over 5 million holders of hunting licences, including 1.1 million active hunters and 500,000 helpers, hunting is an important activity.
The interests of this community are represented and defended by the National Hunters' Association and its regional and departmental networks.
