The Pirschler 15×56 Gen 3 binoculars from DDoptics | ABBE KÖNIG PRISMA | one of the binoculars with the highest magnification in its class
Sometimes it just takes a lot more binocular magnification. Be it to cover greater distances or to view particularly small objects.
The new Ultra-bright and very robust Observation and hunting binoculars Pirschler 15×56 from DDoptics with Abbe King PrismsLenses have the property of imaging objects upside down and laterally inverted - therefore the image must be rotated again. " More info and Magnesium Body is the long awaited additional version of the very successful DDoptics binoculars Pirschler - as Gen 3 with 15x magnification. MagnificationThe magnification of a binocular model is perhaps the most misunderstood feature. High magnification can be useful! " More info.
State-of-the-art materials and manufacturing processes from aircraft construction also make these 15×56 binoculars a real lightweight
In addition to improvements to the optical properties of binocularsThese binoculars are particularly designed for durability. State-of-the-art materials and manufacturing processes from aircraft construction have also made these 15×56 binoculars significantly lighter than the previous Gen 2 models.
Stability and robustness of the DDoptics Pirschler 15×56 binoculars
There is not a single gram of plastic on the new "Pirschler" binoculars (except for the tripod protection cap). Neither on the body itself nor on wearing parts.
The body and the bridge are made of an ultra-hard but extremely light magnesium alloy from aircraft construction and make the binoculars virtually unbreakable. An additional advantage: the magnesium reduces the overall weight by an impressive 70 g to 1,200 g.
Special features Pirschler Gen. 3 binoculars
⇒ Green reinforcement
⇒ Binoculars with ABBE KÖNIG prisms
⇒ Indestructible magnesium (Mg) metal body
⇒ 80 g lighter than the basic predecessor model 8×56 (due to Mg)
⇒ Eyepieces & EyecupsFor spectacle wearers, all DDoptics binoculars are equipped with retractable eyecups. This makes observation easier and enlarges the field of vision. " More info made of metal
⇒ Focussing wheel and separate metal diopter
⇒ Eyecups with clear raster steps
⇒ Completely new look with CT GlassIn addition to the coating of optics, the glass quality or type of glass is one of the most important quality factors for binoculars and riflescopes " More info
⇒ Significantly improved resolution
⇒ Significantly brighter than the previous model
⇒ 80 m Field of visionThe size of the field of view indicates the width of the terrain that can be observed through the binoculars at a distance of 1000 metres. " More info at 1000 m for pleasant glazing
⇒ Best Grip design concept for slip resistance
⇒ Water pressure-tightWith a watertight lens, a clean and dry gas filling in the form of an argon or nitrogen filling creates an "internal climate" that prevents fogging. " More info up to 50 cm
⇒ Raindefender Nano - Lotus RemunerationIf light hits a glass-air surface (e.g. with a roof prism), the reflection causes a loss of light. " More info
For better functionality, the diopter (adjustment range +-4) is no longer located on the focussing wheel, but on the right-hand side. EyepieceThe eyepiece is the lens group of an optical system that faces the eye. The eyepieces consist of several separate lenses - achromats (3-6 individual lenses). " More info. All these operating elements - sight, eyepiece, focusing - are made of duraluminium and therefore guarantee a long service life.
A so-called "Best Grip" reinforcement on the outside of the body prevents the hands from slipping.
This makes gripping and holding these compact binoculars with one hand, even when wearing gloves, pleasantly comfortable and safe.
Brilliant 15×56 binoculars optics in a completely separately manufactured body
There are Two ways to expand a binocular series.
On the one hand, the manufacturer can simply continue to use the binocular body of the original binoculars (e.g. 8×56 binoculars) and only replace the optical components, or the manufacturer can go to the trouble of completely recalculating the optics in order to create a new binocular body. Optimum for binoculars with 15x magnification to be able to display them.
With the Pirschler 15×56, DDoptics has opted for the more elaborate route and has developed a completely new body manufacturedwhich is 4 cm longer than the body of the Pirschler 8×56 binoculars, for example. Optimum result for 15x binoculars reach.
15×56 binoculars specialist at night
Even if the 15x optics already by day enthusiastic, the stalker is nevertheless TwilightFor night glasses, which are ideal for sitting game and as sow glasses, the light intensity is the most important feature. " More info made. With increasing twilight, when other products are already clearly losing image brightness and brilliance, the Pirschler begins to show its strengths. You almost get the impression that resolution and contrast improve even more as dusk approaches.
Even the stalker with 15x magnification still cuts a surprisingly "good figure" after dusk. This means that it can still be reliably addressed well into the dark.
Great partner in Africa
In the vast expanses of Namibia, the DDoptics 15×56 already proved its worth in tests. While there were initially major prejudices against the size, the Pirschler 15×56 soon took the hearts of observers by storm.
The advantage of transporting animals over distances of up to 900 m response quickly made up for the minor disadvantage of the size. And 1200 g binocular weight is still within the tolerable range. In any case, after a short time the 10x binoculars were all in the hotel room and we only wanted to look through the 15x.
Waterproof housing & water-repellent nano coating
The " Raindefender Nano" coating provides a water-repellent lotus effect, the binoculars themselves are completely waterproof up to 50 cm in warm or cold water. WaterThanks to the DDoptics RNP coating on the outer lens surfaces, water does not adhere to the glass. " More info.

Binoculars technology - Smart Focus 50 m to infinity
Smart Focus is an advantage in twilight or at night: this technology The "Pirschler 15×56" does not require refocussing largely. After focussing on an object around 100 metres away, the EyeThe retina of our eyes has two different types of sensory cells or receptors, the cones (for day vision) and the rods (for night vision). " More info automatically in the distance range from 50 metres to infinity without constant refocusing.
Setting the 50 m to infinity function: To set the function, turn the tactile line marker on the focussing wheel to the "up" position.
Large binoculars field of view - even at 15x magnification
The Field of view of 80 metres at 1000 m offers clear advantages when glassing and ensures that game can be found and recognised more quickly.
Also suitable for spectacle wearers
Because the in 3 positions of the twist-in & twist-out eyecups made of metal ensure a perfect Interpupillary distanceThe interpupillary distance is the optimum distance between the eyepiece lens and the pupil of the eye. " More info. The adjustment is smooth, solid and works absolutely without any play.
The significantly improved quality of the Gen 2 compared to its predecessor Eyecup mechanism is noticeable due to an appropriate haptic resistance and the clearly defined detent of the intermediate steps (no rattling, no play, no accidental adjustment).
On the other hand, the Pirschler 15×56 binoculars in the ComparisonDifference and comparison between Porro prisms and roof prisms The design of binoculars is always determined by the type of prism used. Porro prism in binoculars Binoculars with a porro prism design can be recognised by their relatively low height and wide design. Advantage: The greater distance between the two lenses promotes spatial vision. A graphic illustration and further details on the design of porro prisms can be found here! Roof prism with " More info to other binoculars in this class due to a larger distance between the Exit pupilIn addition to the twilight number, the binocular exit pupil at the eyepiece of the binoculars is also very important for seeing in twilight (twilight vision). " More info out (20 mm).
