This is certainly what Very many left-handed shooters waited. How tedious it is for a Left-handed with a rifle designed for right-handers to shoot.

Left-hand shooters long guns unfortunately do not have such a large market in terms of unit numbers. This usually leads to considerable price increases and longer waiting times.

BERGARA has now taken up this topic and is bringing 2 cans as genuine left-hand versions with lowest surcharge on the market:

• One for the hunting use - the B14 Timber with the .308 Win.
• and the other - for more sporting use with 2 cartridges - the B14 HMR left in .308 Win. and 6.5 Creedmore

The BERGARA B14 with wooden stock as B14 Timber as a real link system

The BERGARA rifle is linked to the Remington 700 system leant on. The fastener is a Two-warp fastener with ejector integrated into the recessed push floor and short extractor in the left nipple. The chamber still locks in the area of the barrel thread inside this steel sleeve. In contrast to the Remington 700, BERGARA's B14 utilises a barrel thread attached to the spring rocker on the right side of the sleeve as a catch or disassembly lever for the chamber. The Basques also took a different approach to the shape of the bolt cover and the firing pin head. The Two-position locking device corresponds again to the proven Rem. 700 version.

Ideal for hunters: The absolute Dry functioning direct trigger The Bergara B14 Timber on the left breaks at an average - very good for both hunting and sport - just over 1000 grams (if you want it finer - just against a Remington 700 trigger system swap). The slider that only opens two-position safety catch acting on the trigger performs flawlessly. Hunters will also be very interested to know that the Bergara B14 Timber secured and unlocked completely silently can be realised.

Due to the current Occupational safety sound absorber situation (hearing) the B14 Timber starts on the left with the proven cartridge 308 Win. with 56 cm barrel and M14x1 barrel thread.

The BERGARA B14 HMR as a B14 HMR with real link system

HMR stands for "Hunting & Match Rifle", in other words a Bolt action rifle for hunting and sport shooting. The new Bergara B-14 HMR left-handed rifle fires the very popular Cartridge.308 Winchester and the now no longer so unusual Cartridge 6.5 Creedmoor (from Hornady in 2007 developed Cartridge for long-range competitions).

The Rifle stock is made of plastic and can be customised to the shooter. The cheek piece is easily height-adjustable with a fixing screw. There are various rubber distance inserts for adjusting the stock length. There are 2 different eyelets for attaching the carrying strap to the fore-end for optimum comfort when carrying.
